What is that then, an Alkintraaf?
A lot of people around me were going wowy about a few computerprograms, Beatmachines. They were suddenly metamorfosing into beatmasters, I thought:
"Hey, I want this!". But I was working with a lot time behind a computer at the time, so, for a change I wanted to do these beats, but without a computer.

So that's what it is. The Alkintraaf is a mechanical beatmachine.
The beattable has a hand or machinedriven tempogenerator, which can be adjusted from around 30 bpm to about 600, i think, and it can be reversed.
The alkintraaf itself has 4 channels of each 16 steps a beat. Each channel can also be played by hand, independent of the beat.
With different beaters beats on anything you want. Each channel can be swiched to two beaters.
